I’m tired of thinking about you

And talking to you in general,

I’m tired of you interrupting my life

As soon as I start to get a grip.

I’m tired of watching in slow motion

As everything shatters into pieces,

A puzzle with no hope of being finished

And a helpless girl with no way to stop it.

I’m tired of being stepped on

And always being nice,

I’m tired of the little boy that never listens

Even though I’m right.

I’m tired of smiling

And the always “chipper” feeling,

I’m tired of being angry

And not knowing exactly what I’m feeling.

But most of all I’m tired of being me

And the life that I lead,

A girl who can’t change

What people fail to see.
