When someone asks me
To describe you to them,
What can I say? I simply tell them:
That you're the perfect height
To reach my lips easily.
Your hazelnut colored hair
Is wonderfully long enough,
To run my fingers through it.
Cool soft smooth skin,
That's pale with a hint of pink.
Makes my fingertips tingle.
I say that even though you're self conscious,
About how small and skinny you are
You are just the right size.
Our body's fit together
Like puzzle pieces,
Perfectly.
And I wouldn't change that for anything.
I tell them how your smile
Infects me.
As I can't help one of my own.
Gazing upon you or just
Small quick glances, before you
Take notice of my deed.
Your voice puts me in a trance.
It's my favorite sound,
As I yern for your lips to part
And for my name
To role off your tongue.
I tell them that your eyes are endless
And I find myself lost,
Every time I gaze into them.
I tell them that the way you hold my hand
In yours, our fingers laced together,
Is what a dream about at night.
Along with those soft,
Lingering kisses that have become my
Addiction.
Constantly, craving just one more
Kiss.
I tell them you are my everything,
You hold the key to my heart.
And you always will.
I tell them all of this,
By telling them nothing at all.
I sum all of this up
With a few simple words:
He's perfect,
in every way.
The imperfections he thinks he has
Are not imperfections at all.
He is beautiful,
But not just his looks,
He has a heart of gold.
That seems to out shine
All that come near.
When they ask me to describe you

i actually wrote this awhile ago but i had forgotten about it and saved it in my drafts that is until tonight when i was talking to my boyfriend and he had said that he didnt see what i saw in him and so i started listing the things that i love and its not just his looks, oh no its the way he makes me laugh and how i know i'm never alone, the way he's dorky with me and doent mind my awkward strangeness but instead encourages it! i wish there were enough words to express how much i truly love him but alas there aren't and sooooo you guy will have to deal with my many romantic poems (; © 2014 - 2024 Blue-eyed-girl-23
